How To Activate Old Verizon Flip Phone

  1. Activate old Verizon flip phone (non LTE)

I have 2 sometime Verizon flip phones that turn on and work fine. Withal I accept pictures on them I need to pull off. I went to the Verizon store and they are unable to activate anything without a SIM carte du jour since August...wondering if a prepaid carrier would do it since the switchover isn't until end of yr.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

Neither has a "supplied" usb cable only I do believe they did exist at one time as they are on eBay for around cheap. Not sure withal if drivers exist. It would be a ton easier to activate and bulletin the pictures. I practise have some data recovery companies looking into information technology.

There may exist a trivial fourth dimension left to activate them on PagePlus for $x. I don't know how big the pics are, only the $10 might be enough to send the pictures to wherever yous're trying to send them.

  7. i believe you lot tin can still activate them on verizon prepaid until 4/30/2019 - https://www.howardforums.com/showthr...ntil-4-30-2019

A data recovery visitor wanted $250 per phone...haha...can merely be done over the phone apparently even the store tin't practise it.

The pics were of our dog when we got her at the pound in 2004 and the year afterward...she died a few days ago...fifteen years one-time. Nice to have those first pictures.

Thank you guys seriously means a lot to us!

  9. Nice! A good event. Who knew VZW could be the adept guy?

  10. Good to hear Page Plus came through!

I would suggest pursuing the Bluetooth transfer anyway as MMS may accept compressed the image and BT should transport the whole file as saved from camera. Pairing tin can be a slow and trial and error process. Try setting the receiver into pairing mode and sending without pairing if pairing is giving issues. Reboot oft.

Very distressing for your loss. Glad you got the pics even if lower res.
